For those of you that are new. Generally, how we have the RP's set up is that you describe in your first post how your faction got there, what they're maybe thinking about, and their reactions to the city (Maybe they hate it based on where they are from, for instance the legion may be disgusted seeing strippers and chem dealers while being escorted to the Gourmand, maybe the love the brilliance of it etc.). You could also just add in an excerpt of what they were doing before they left if you want.

Then, once most people have those posts up. Private discussions or general talks can begin by approaching people.
