[@The Grey Dust] Well yeah, you don't know where the NPC will be then. For all we could know a roll could end him up dead. Not to mention, how could he tell anything about Njat two hours in the future? If you are going to be anywhere but up in the room it just won't work. People come and go from the tavern. The group could still be talking or they could have turned in. Njat and Chern could be in there or not. It is too much to cover without any knowledge of how to. He has to stay confined and away from everyone until the time is made up. 

Only thing I can say is keep with the mediating posts or request an edit to cut down on the time he was sitting there.
