[@The Grey Dust] Here, how about this - cut back on the time - and we can let it be reworked for your character that mediation for his spells counts as 3/4's the effect of sleep. So for every 4 hours of mediation he gets 3 hours of "sleep" in there. That would at least take care of meditation vs sleep issues. Then you can cut back on his meditation time, have him come down and see the group and Femnal as they are now. (It's been a little more than an hour with everything.) - then he can go back to it later on. \
