The outfit is dark red and black rather than purple and white. She also wears black fingerless gloves and a dark red choker with a black dragon head pendant. She also has two black bladed katanas sheathed on her hips. The hilts look like the one in the draconian image without the two 'wings' of the crosspiece.[/i] [u][b]Personality:[/b][/u] [i]Sayuri is friendly and can get along with just about anyone. She can control her emotions extremely well rarely showing how she is actually feeling. She will however make it absolutely clear what she thinks of you generally telling you face to face. She is also extremely good with animals easily calming even bad tempered creatures. Despite her outward friendliness she is actually detached from people making it difficult for her to understand other people or make any close connections with others. Only one person has managed to become her friend and it took them ten years. She is also extremely laid back and carefree rarely, if ever, taking anything seriously. In addition if she ever actually gets loses control of her anger she explodes taking it out on the one who pissed her off and if they're not there pretty much anyone is fair game and she extremely difficult to calm down. Sayuri desires to be a Hunter so that she can go wherever and do whatever she wants in addition to helping her only friend get away from their abusive father. She specifically wants to be a Blacklist Hunter. Sayuri's morals are skewed as she really doesn't have a conscience or empathy. She has no regard for human life willing to kill without a second thought and leaving most other people to die without remorse. She isn't one for the darker things like torture as they leave a bad taste in her mouth. Though she does enjoy “playing with her food.” Food being opponents that stand no chance against her.[/i] [u][b]Biography:[/b][/u] [i]Sayuri's life started well enough having been born to a couple of blacksmiths that made a decent living as her parents were well regarded as weapons smiths. They were both good smiths in their own rights but when they worked together they made exceptional pieces. The 'Takashi' name would be recognizable to high end weapons collectors and the like. They used their own alloy that was passed down through her mothers family. It was known for its durability though at the cost of some extra weight. They lived in a smaller village that was relatively close to a large trading town. They had a quiet life without many issues outside of her own personal ones. Even for a kid her age she was oddly detached from other kids having no friends which worried her parents. Things took a turn for the worse when she was six though. Her parents and her were on their way to town to deliver a large order to a variety of clients when they were attacked. Both of her parents were killed and she would have died if she hadn't been found by a man passing through. Rather than leaving her to die he took her, her parents weapons, and as many intact items as he could back to his home. When she awoke she found herself in the mansion of a local noblemen and learned that the man who saved her was his best personal bodyguard and assassin. She quickly realized that she couldn't remember anything of the attack only what happened before it. She was told of her parents fates and the reason she was brought here. The man had decided to make her one of the bodyguards and without knowing where she was or her village was there wasn't much she could do. She started training as soon as she was healed. That changed fairly quickly as only about three months later he started training her personally and had absolutely no mercy. He would push her past her limits and beat her whenever she made a mistake or was too slow. She had to work through any injuries as well. She interacted with Irene for the first time when she was eight. She'd seen her from a distance and knew she was the Nobles daughter. Irene came up and tried to become friends with her. Though Sayuri didn't ignore her, she certainly didn't play along. This did little to discourage Irene much to Sayuri's annoyance. Her training continued as did Irene's attempts at friendship and her hatred for the man who'd saved her life. Irene's constant attempts at friendship annoyed her at first but as she got used to them she was able to use her as a ground to keep herself from breaking entirely. There were a handful of other children there being trained to be bodyguards as a group. When she was ten she asked him why he'd chosen to save her life and even more importantly why had he chosen her to train personally during one of their sessions. He seemingly ignored the question and continued training her. It was only afterwards, as she laid there half conscious, that he responded. He hadn't planned anything special when he'd saved her only to treat her and enlist her as a bodyguard trainee as she was orphaned and had nowhere to go. It was only after he saw signs of her own natural talent for combat that he decided to make her his protege. Sayuri's skill improved rapidly due to a natural talent for combat and was hired at the age of fourteen and took her first assignment killing a low level politician that was causing a small amount of trouble for her now boss. It was fairly simple for her as he'd had no real entourage or competent bodyguards. It was also around this time that she first witnessed Irene's Father abuse her. He'd been outdone by another noble and took out his anger by hitting her. Sayuri almost attacked him as she started considering her as a friend. The only thing that held her back was the knowledge that the other guards would have easily killed her. Over the next couple of years she got closer to Irene and started looking for the village where she was from. When she was sixteen she found the village, received permission for time off and journeyed back home. When she arrived people were ecstatic at having her back welcoming her with open arms and a small celebration as she was alive. She was glad to be back and celebrated with the others but realized something during it. She realized that this [i]wasn't[/i] home for her anymore. She didn't have any connection to this place or really belong. The people, being who they were, accepted her decision and let her leave several days later saying she could always return. Upon her return however she learned that Irene's father had broken her arm and shoulder during a beating the day before. That was the last straw in Sayuri's mind. She vowed to save Irene from her Father and kill him. Along with the man who'd saved her life trained her. To this end and as a final test for herself she decided to become a Hunter. For the next four years she trained herself harder than ever, had her fathers twin swords and her mothers longsword repaired at the village by the best blacksmith and protected Irene when she could without endangering either of them. When she was eighteen she found an opportunity to kill her mentor. While he was out on a mission she ambushed him before he reached the target, killed him, and threw his body into the forest for the wolves. Now twenty she feels ready to take the Hunter Exam and has left to do so vowing to become a Hunter and help her friend.[/i] [hider=Draconians][i]Draconians are a race that generally keep to themselves. They look mostly human except with dragonic features such as scales, claws, eyes, or tails in varying combinations. The only two constants are pointed scaled ears and scales on their body. They are rarely seen out and about in the world as most of them live in villages in mountain areas as close knit communities. Despite this they are generally openly welcoming to visitors and offering help to those who need it. They are not commonly known to people who don't live near their villages though the information isn't hidden. Many of them live as hunters or blacksmiths often going to larger nearby towns to sell their wares. They value strength and ability above social standing or gender in all cases. The two things they absolutely despise above all else are people that take advantage of others and people who betray those close to them. As individuals they are generally rather eccentric having greatly varied personalities and sometimes odd taste in clothes. They also encourage people to go after their dreams rarely stopping others from leaving if they choose to. Draconians smiths are of particular note because of the quality of their creations. Each smith tends to lean towards making different kinds of items. Some prefer making small blades like kitchen knives or daggers, while others preferring to make armors like greaves and gauntlets, and still others prefer making little things like jewelry or lockets. Even between each smith that makes the same things use different styles and recipes passed down through families along with their own eccentricities. Among low end collectors “Draconain” is though of as a brand where as higher end collectors know that the Draconians are a people and know the value and differences between each notable persons works. Their villages are generally run by a council of 6 or more based on village size, two Elders and four younger Councilors, who oversee judgments for crime and make major decisions that effect the village. Placements are determined by recommendations from existing members with citizen backing.[/i][/hider] [u][b]Abilities:[/b][/u] [i]Enhanced Strength Durability and Agility: Due to her brutal upbringing and training she has a strength and agility surpassing that of most people easily outclassing many trained fighters. She is as durable as she is strong with a pain tolerance to match being able to shrug off broken ribs without flinching. Combat Genius: Sayuri is a genius when it come to combat being able to pick up most mid-level techniques through observation and mimicking the user, whether teacher or stranger, though still has to take time to master them afterwards. Albeit faster then others would. This has to be done relatively soon after witnessing the move as the details need to be fresh in her mind. Stealth and Observation: Having been raised to be an assassin she is adept at moving silently and erasing her presence to a high degree.
