Name - Holiday Age - 19 Species - Kathirian Role - Pirate Gender - Male Appearance - Kathirians are tailless animal-like aliens covered in fur, with a snout stretching out from their heads and two pointy ears. Other then that, they're quite a lot like humans in shape and functions, known for ranging in a variety of colors. Holiday specifically has a dark shade of blue covering his body, with yellow eyes and a black iris. He stands slightly shorter then the average height of a human, with no known physical oddities then a scar stretching down his back. Body shape is rectangular, lacking muscle or fat. His apparel is an insulting combination of human clothes found within his vessel, trousers with boots, a button-up long-sleeve shirt, then a long leather trench coat and a flat cap over his head. Despite being a total fashion hazard, he is often quick to discard most of it when the trouble ensues. For operations that are in hostile environs, he'll go with his basic lucky suit and chest plate armor. Personality - Constantly dipping into humor as life goes on, Holiday's behavior can be described in three words; confident, optimistic and facetious. No plan goes right in defying galactic law, so wherever there is a failure there will be Holiday- making fun of said failure no matter how dire. His whole behavior is surrounded by this jocular behavior, confident in being ridiculous or outlandish, as well as his optimism followed with constantly prodding at things and how bizarre the galaxy can be. It doesn't help much that he is without fatigue, going on and on much to the dismay of anyone who is around him, somehow always coming back from the deepest of pits of despair while making a ridiculous reference to some outer-rim movie. History - Holiday is young, which is very telling with his progress in life. The Kathirian species are notorious for their large families which inhabit the universe. They're always refugees, migrants and lowly workers, their culture reinforced with staying together in large packs. It was deep within the bowels of SB798-17 that a village-sized Kathirian population would dwell, with Holiday constantly stirring up trouble with other families. His brothers were numerous and had their feuds with many others, and Holiday was the eldest of his pack, all of his siblings looking to him to lead them in their youthful aggression, to which he did with much success. During their childhood years their crimes were insignificant, but nonetheless exciting to their boring lives of being home all day. Food, tools and money were commonly taken from other homes as they went about their business. Their teen years would be followed with open brawls against both Katharians and other inhabitants, the brothers gathering together into their own gang as violence kept on mounting. Despite their over-worked parents scolding them for their behavior, it never ceased, the brothers disobedience and relentlessness causing numerous arrests as they got older. Thankfully their time in jail was short and they would always reunite as soon as possible. But their actions were not without consequence. It was inevitable that the first of them would die in a violent shootout, more ensuing. As the gang would decrease with attrition, the situation became more and more grim, their parents quickly passing once it became too hard to see what their children had become. Filled with guilt, Holiday confronted his brothers with a desire to abandon their criminal activities. Despite being bruised and having a scar from the fight that broke out, he hasn't dared to return to that street since. Signing on with pirate who desperately needed crew, Holiday's story would become as typical as ever of any fortunate criminal- working his way in a short matter of years, getting his own ship and having worthy gear to boot. His greed is without end, constantly pushing himself forward to try more dangerous and life-threatening plans to gather more loot, getting drunk when the money can be spent and making lackluster jokes along the way. His desperation shines through the shell of confidence sometimes, guilt for leaving his brothers behind is as endless as the greed. Equipment Space Revolver - With blue light surrounding the sights and black paint everywhere else, the "Space Revolver" is a lethal military-grade weapon that fires bullets similar to a 50. cal. While the bullets themselves are only capable of penetrating the most basic of armor, the real threat comes in the bullet's impact, capable of knocking down those too tough or armored to kill. The name of the actual gun is unknown, Holiday simply calls it space revolver for his own enjoyment. (He insists "Holiday Special" was another idea, but was weird to say.) Pocket Tool Device - While most of the tiny tools in this device aren't lethal by any stretch of the means, it has proven to be useful in causing trouble, from cutting rope with a tiny knife to hacking terminals with lacking security. It also serves as a short-range communication device, similar to a cell-phone. Lucky Spandex - A sophisticated and form-fitting black suit worn under the all of Holiday's clothing. It remains on at all times, capable of propelling itself in space with tiny jets on the feet, to having a helmet form over his face from tiny nanobots that inhabit the suit with it's own oxygen supply, these nanobots can also assist in preventing severe blood loss or protecting from blunt force, though cannot outright stop either from killing Holiday. Where this suit comes from and who originally owned it is up for debate, Holiday has come to calling it "Lucky Spandex" Ship
The Europa Presently Aboard The Hellion The Basics - The Europa is a durable fighter, with a single cockpit with many trinkets laid about it, as well as a picture of SB798-17 near the controls. The original design seems to have been long overridden with numerous customized parts, some of which are debatable in their legality. The name also implies it was owned by a human, but Holiday refuses to bring up it's history. Weaponry - Two small turrets are attached underneath the cockpit. They fire large rounds similar to that of a tank at a higher speed, lacking severely in explosive power but packing a mighty punch. Other then that, there is one 'pod' of missiles that pops out of the top of The Europa's front, with a total of four missiles being able to be fired at once.
Activity - My mood and inspiration changes unfortunately, and that determines how willing I am to post. I'm not going to hold up the RP for a week is what I can promise. If I take too long to post or if inspiration dies, I'll come into the OOC and say that I'm quitting. If I SOMEHOW don't end up doing that and haven't posted in awhile, boot me from the thread entirely with extreme prejudice. Seriously, if I don't post within at least a few days and don't respond to a @, then boot me with extreme prejudice. Extras - I'd consider Holiday to be a comedic relief for me since I've always written serious stuff, so don't expect him to get heavily invested into philosophy and the living conditions of the modern galaxy 24/7. Though that doesn't mean him being dark isn't off the table, it'll just only be reserved for particular moments.

Name - Grace Age - 18 Species - Kathirian Role - Pirate Gender - Female Appearance - Like any other Kathirian, Grace has fur covering her body and overall humanoid. Her body is pear shaped and eyes yellow with black pupils. Fur is primarily light orange, with white going down from the neck and over the torso. She is way shorter then the average human height, but is muscular enough to carry her own weight. Her apparel is very non-combat orientated, utilizing a flexible but tight full body suit to survive the void of space, or hazardous planets. The suit is white in color so it can be easily spotted against the backdrop of space, with a thick, hard fabric to protect against cuts and numerous wires connecting from the helmet to a backpack-like oxygen container oh her back, which doubles as a jetpack. It also has a hood and a face-mask for environments that do not require full head protection. Casually, she'll just wear that same full body suit without all the added hazardous survival gear- basically a white jumpsuit. Personality - Grace is a very timid despite her line of work as a outlaw. There is no threatening boom to her voice nor any glare she could give, shyly keeping away from people she doesn't know and sticking to those that she does. Thanks to this antisocial behavior, vehicles are her most common audience, their creaks and groans replied with swift repairs and constant customization to keep them up to date. She has a interest in art, and will more then once paint or etch something into the side of a long-served machine if a pilot/crew indirectly permits it. This talent and confidence swiftly fades in the presence of others however, where nervousness takes over. So far Grace remains attached to Holiday as they are similar to one another, though she more so merely listens to him rather then talking back for an open discussion, there is a feeling of family between the two to keep them friendly towards each other. While not admitting it, she does look up to Holiday in admiration of his confidence and desire to discover. History - It is unknown where she was born, the details having been forgotten by herself. It was a distant colony, somewhere beyond the reaches of the UGCP for sure, with little protection and a lax governance over the populace that had lived there. Life was peaceful enough despite the UGCP's absence, with many species cooperating as neighbors to each other, finding comfort within the urbanized centers that were so sparsely dotted along the surface. The Throgg however would not dare leave such a bountiful target alone, and during one morning they had savagely torn apart most of the population centers in search for materials and slaves to take for their future wars. It was during this fighting that Grace had lost her family and the trauma from the event coming to haunt her for the years to come. Fortunately escaping on an evacuation shuttle, the fact that few ever made it off world haunts her to this day. Since that raid life has been busy, finding her way into the Hellion as a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to the machines, technology and other artificial creations. Despite the title of pirate making her seem as of a dangerous sort, Grace has yet to ever kill another being, quietly staying out of trouble as she has always done. Equipment Tools - Simple as the name may be, "Tools" are varied in size and purpose, this can be a small toolbox to everything that is carried with her. A decade of living with little has made her resourceful, so her only strength can be found in her tinkering alone, capable of making the most makeshift of tools into what would seem factory-made equipment with a wrench and some screws. Though it may take time to make the most dangerous of weapons even better, the end result is never disappointing. Zero G Experience - When the situation calls for floating midst debris or asteroids, there is no lack of experience on Grace's part. With hundreds of hours spent crawling along hulls and repairing breaches, or floating through derelicts with great interest in where they came from. Gravity is a kind of movement which Grace has adapted to with a rapid pace, even if the great depths of space are horrifying to stare into. Ship - N/A Activity - See Holiday Extras - While I take Holiday as my primary character for most action, I'd intend for Grace to be heavily involved as well as an observer/assistant, and in a way have her be more of the 'protagonist' of the two. Her development is much more important and may very well become my focus in this RP, though she'll be slightly more serious in tone.
