[@KnightShade] The descent was another good movie. Let the right one in was alright. But, Don't breathe, was um...well there was a particular scene that I could instantly
Where the fucking girl who escapes, leaves and fucking STOPS in the middle of her escape and turns around! I even think she even TAUNTS HIM? Because dumb as hell character, then the man sicks the non-threatening doggo on here. (Ala Frozen. *The horror one*) And she gets scared and runs again. That whole third act is funny to watch, just not in a good way. But I could imagine, Anna Faris, escaping the home then turning around in the middle of the road, bragging endlessly that she escaped to the point of sheer ludricousness and then the man just sending a horde of velociraptors at her. [s](and that's ignoring the turkey baster.)[/s]
But yeah that movie was really dumb. Even my friend (who likes super cheesy horror movies and bad movies in general usually.) who wanted to see the movie in theaters, ended up disliking it in the end. Granted had decent actors and one damn good trailer, but yeah... There's several movies that are SUPPOSE to be really good horror films, but if you actually listen to the plot outside of them, it sounds, really, really stupid. (this is how I've been told.) Like...
Evil white people take over the bodies of black people...and somehow has a serious moral message about racism. :I

Ooh it's an anagram for The Bad Book, ooo so clever. And the ending apparently is she keeps the evil demon creature as a pet...because that's symbolism...for moving on with her problematic life. :I

The villain is an STD. ...Fucking really? :I
So yeah, it sort of makes me not want bother watching some of them. Doesn't help that a lot of horror films, like Unfriended get actually good or okay reviews, and it's one of the worst movies that's been released. Like don't get me wrong, I'm not my roommate. I don't outright dislike horror movies. Just find the recent ones to be, very pretentious or a dumpster fire.
