[@Dawnscroll] Oooh, that gives me an idea. Ribbing off your idea, the fae of old are becoming active once more, both the good and bad ones - the source lying in the fact that Oberon has awoken from a long slumber and stepped out of Tír na nÓg; his intentions are not at all evil, he is simply acting in accordance to his mischievous nature, with Sidhe following suit. Without Titania to counterbalance his actions, the fairies are running wild and unhindered. At the very least, this story will give students two objectives which is to repel fairies from Hogwarts (which is about all they can do - leave the rest of the United Kingdoms to the Aurors and professionals) and awaken Titania (assuming the students are somehow a relevant force to begin with). Note: I'm basing my characterization of Oberon and Titania from traditional Sidhe myths and a manga called Ancient Magus Bride (Mahō Tsukai no Yome) rather than how they are characterized in A Midsummer Nights Dream.
