Also, I forgot to mention that this is based on/inspired by Shattered Starlight. Its a fairly interesting webcomic about magical girls.

[@WindsOfFate] Abilities would initially start out simple. Everyone will be able to garner an item that will be the source of their abilities. Maybe a necklace that turns into a wand, giving you the ability to shoot balls of fire, or your cellphone turning into a gun, that would give you telepathy or something.

Gradual progression would involve gaining of more equipment and upgrading them, until a full outfit is made. Nothing is set in stone yet, but this is basically what I'm trying to go for.
