Listening to how they had run Kale over with a car shocked me. How could someone do something so horrible? I stare at Kale, as I think about everything he told me. He seems like a good guy. Maybe we could work together in getting out, but first, I need to see if he's alright. Pursing my lips, I slowly crawl over to him, and sit beside him. "Can you life up your shirt?" I ask, before blushing. "That didn't sound right... Um...My mom's a doctor, so I know a bit about bruises, internal bleeding, broken bones and such..." The blush on my cheeks darken, as I look away, wrapping my arms around my legs, holding them close to my chest. Hiding behind my hair, I peer at him, wondering what his answer would be. The thought of my parents suddenly made me miss them. They were so supportive when I wanted to go to school with Karrie. I wonder what they're thinking? Are they stressing about the fact that I'm missing? Did Karrie's parents tell them I'd gone missing? I hadn't spoken with my parents for a few weeks now, since I was so busy with school, and I'm regretting it. I wish I spoke with them this week. At least I would've known if they were alright or not.
