It's ability to feel pain was nullified by the drug. The flames that grazed against it's being burned it's tumors, but it couldn't feel a hint of pain. It swung it's club-like arm and splintered the bar into small, small, pieces as it continued forward. Jackson fired more fire against it, and it became[i] painfully[/i] obvious that it wasn't going to stop it's berserk charge.

However, Jackson didn't account for his ability triggering a stable in modern day architecture: the sprinkler system. It came down and soaked the entire room as if it was rain. Depriving him of his superpower, and doing nothing to the mutant.

It looked at Jackson with beady eyes, before it used a sudden burst of speed, and brought down its club like hand on him.
