Los Paraisos: Pellagio hotel - Moira and Syed's room There were no assurances, no words of comfort. Nothing at all. Did that mean they did? That had to mean they did, right? The arcs of electricity grew, jumping from him and travelling across the walls, across the ceilings. "No, no we can't, we can't..." he whispered, becoming more and more frantic by the second. "I never would have..." His mind span and span and span, not stopping for even a second. He wanted to have a shower, to scrub and scrub and scrub until he could actually feel clean. He wanted to be sick. He felt the need to just purge himself somehow, as much as he knew it wouldn't help. With his bond to Moira, and her still being asleep, he could do neither. Amy still looked scared, she still looked so scared. He wanted to try and say something to calm her down, but how could he do that when he was just as panicky himself? How could he do that when he wouldn't believe his own words? He felt cold, he felt invaded right through to his core, but seeing her reactions - seeing her wrestling frantically with the door - she looked even worse than he felt. She looked desperate, she looked horrified, she looked vunerable. Had he done that to her? He fell to his knees, hugging himself tightly. He must have, he must have. But it made no sense to him, none at all. How could he do something so completely against who he was? Tears finally began to streak down his face. He didn't understand. He couldn't understand. "I'm - I'm done. I don't want to play guilder anymore. I'm done. This isn't fun anymore. Where's Trixie. I'm done. I can't do this anymore. I'm done, I'm done with this, I'm done." He looked up again slowly with reddened eyes. He didn't blame her for wanting to leave. He certainly did. Although right now she needed something to assure her - more than probably any time he had known her before. He swallowed. He only just realised quite how dry his throat was. "Y-yeah. Yeah, this kind of stuff is never on the pamphlet." Idiot! Idiot! How is joking supposed to help? "I-I mean, I mean I never wanted to sign up anyway, but it's not like I had any choice," he added hurriedly. Wait, how was that supposed to help either?! If Moira were awake she'd be punching him out by now. "What am I doing, you don't want to hear this now, what am I doing... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." Breathe. Just breathe. Calm down now, before you bloody set the place alight. He scrunched his eyes shut, sniffling. Just breathe. Just. Breathe. The arcs of electricity slowly began to die down, the rattling and buzzing which filled the room quietening to nothing. He was in no fit state to try and calm her down, so don't even try. Just don't. "I'm sure Trixie's fine," he said finally, sparking up a little but nowhere near the degree he was a moment ago. Well... he hoped she was fine. He was still shaking all over, he still felt disgusting and terrible and his voice still cracked. But the less he thought about that the better. "The door's probably locked, Moira's really d-defensive about her stuff. She never leaves doors unlocked ever." He absent-mindedly attempted and failed to remove the ring again, before he caught himself. He wiped at his face to try and dry it. "If... if you want, I could look for the key while you use the bathroom," he offered, averting his eyes towards one of the piles of clothes on the floor. "Save you going out there like that..." "NNNNNNNNNNRGH!" Moira groaned, as good timing as ever. What the hell was with all these lights and this noise and the odd movements under the bed? Everything hurt. She knew hangovers as well as the back of her hand, but this one was probably a medal winner. "Fuckin' hell..." She slowly sat up, but even then the movement was a bit too much for her. Bile quickly rose in her throat, and the next thing she knew she was leaning over the bed ejecting her stomach contents onto the floor. Uuuuuuuurgh this was a bad one, this was a really bad one. Wait a minute. "What the hell are you doing under there?!" she exclaimed, shuffling a little to finally release the archer trapped beneath.
