The year is 2172, the human colony of Hestia Prime was founded by Weyland-Yutani Corporation more than three decades ago. Hestia Prime is quiet world with twenty hour days, many of its residents are either farmers or miners, though there are many exciting career opportunities available here for newcomers. The world's current population is just over 800 people, but with new arrivals moving to the colony every passing day. While further away from some of the other colonies. Hestia Prime is a breathtaking world turned into a warm, welcoming home via terraformation. 

Massive, awe inspiring mountains span much of the world, there offer a jaw dropping view of the colony. The grass is green as it is on Earth, fields of grains covering much of the once barren surfaces. A fresh water lake filled with imported fish is to the east of the colony. Trees have been planted and are growing in the outskirts of the colony, soon animals shall be brought here and will further bring the world to life. The settlement which the populations live in is growing larger and more active by the day, The White Star Casino has recently been completed, a golf course being finished as well. There is so much to do on the beautiful world of Hestia Prime!

It is a fresh start, a place for ambitious, future driven people who seek to help the colony grow and prosper. Employment options are available in the Weyland-Yutani Corporation science facility, located to the north of the main colony. New technologies are created here and scientific breakthroughs are made every single day. Jobs are also open in the mineral mines of the world, where massive machinery pulls necessary metals from the underground of the world. Other corporations have set up operations here, a bustling business sector offers careers in that sector. Families are welcome to Hestia Prime, the more the merrier!

So this is an interest check for a advanced RP set in the terrifying Alien universe, one of my favorite film series. This storyline will be set after the first film, but several years before the second one, Aliens. The plot focuses on a recently founded colony world, with a dark, horrific secret. To not spoil the surprise, it will involve Xenomorphs and some serious chest bursting and bone chilling horror. The story will start before the chaos begins, where it starts to take form and the characters are getting used to their new home. This idea has been in my mind for a while now, with the newest film in the series releasing on Friday, I figured what better time than now to try this roleplay idea?

This roleplay will be more akin to the first film than the more action minded second one, that means more suspense, terror and general bloodiness. While there will be action, it won't be the total focus. Our characters will not know what they are getting into, or what is happening when everything goes south. I will allow a few to work in the science labs for Weyland-Yutani, where they may get an earlier sight of the vicious aliens than the others. My player character will be an android, a staple of the film series. No one is aware of what a xenomorph is, or that Weyland-Yutani is about to unleash a horror that none of them will be at all prepared for.
