Derrick quietly considered the risk to trying to go through and not trying to go through. He wasn't sure if these spiders were poisonous but if they were, one bite and it would probably be over for whoever was bitten if it wasn't treated immediately. And considering they didn't have any antidotes, if worst came to worst, they'd have to do an emergency amputation. Derrick eyed his old halberd and decided that probably wouldn't work out too well. But this was a difficult opportunity to pass up, even if it might not even work out.

"Say, did you check if there was a way for the spiders to get through?" Derrick asked. "I don't really want to try our luck if they're able to swarm us."
