If we know him, I doubt he'll dictate anything one way or the other. I get where you're coming from, but seeing as he has to determine the outcomes of everyone's actions, it doesn't really make sense he help set them up. If you feel the need to consult anyone, I'd simply recommend your fellow players (preferably via PM). I've done that more than once at this point, and it's helped immensely with planning. I doubt you can do that. Not only do you make it sound too easy, but last I remember, she wasn't set up for it. Even if she didn't withdraw herself, it doesn't seem logical that she would already be positioned to act.
