I watched as he lifted his shirt, a bright blush on my cheeks. My eyes widen when I see what was under his beanie, not even listening to what he had asked me. How did he get all those scars? Despite them, he didn't seem scary at all. He just had a horrible past. I watched as he quickly tugged his shirt and beanie back on, not looking at me. As much as I wanted to ask him so many questions, I could see it in his eyes, that he didn't want to tell me. I didn't mind. We just met. It's not easy to trust someone, but I knew that I trusted him a lot more than the guys holding us captive. I was about to say something, but the door swings open. Shutting my mouth, I swivel to see the man that had pushed Kale in. "Hello again." I watched as he rubbed his hands together, my eyes narrow. He seemed much too happy when entering. "Guess what!? You guys have a one way helicopter ride to the island waiting for you up on deck! My boss found shipping you two by boat was taking far too long so he sent his chopper to retrieve you. Anyhow I just happy that I don't have to babysit you any longer so let's get going!" He gestures for us to leave the room, seeming impatient. Snorting, I rise to my feet. I didn't trust him, and I certainly didn't want to show him my back, but I guess there's nothing I can do about it. I walk after Kale, not really wanting to go first either. I glare at the man, as I walk past, hoping one day I might get heat vision like superman, so I can burn holes into his head. He really deserves it for helping kidnap us. Noticing that there were two other men outside in the hall, I quickly clung to Kale's shirt, not willing to part with him. He's the first person I was hoping to be my friend. I didn't want to lose him anytime soon. I eyed their weapons with distaste. Seriously? They need to be armed to go up against a teenage boy and girl? I snort at the thought of them being too weak to take us out without the need of weapons. We were then lead a down the hallway, we took a few lefts and a right before coming to a stairwell. We went up the stairwell which lead us outside. Soon the door had opened my eyes were blinded, so I just close them, allowing Kale to lead me to where we need to go. I loved the feeling of the sun basking my skin once more. Taking in a deep breath of fresh air, I could gather that we were by the ocean. It had a calming effect. I have always loved the ocean. Slowly I open my eyes. The sun was still glaring bright, but not as bad as before. I scowl at the chopper sitting and waiting at the centre of the ship. It was small...big enough for four people it seemed. The chopper was ready for take off. I let Kale go first, like before, not liking how the man pushed us. We made our way to the chopper. We were told to duck our heads and so we did. The chopper was so loud, I wanted to cover my ears, but at the same time, not let go of Kale. Waiting for Kale to climb in, I watch as a man sticks a needle into Kale's neck, rendering him unconscious before I could tell Kale. Seconds later, I feel a prick in my neck, and I fall into darkness, a cry leaving my lips.
