Name - Alan Parker Age - 21 Species - Human (Formerly) Space Siren (Currently) Role - Freelancer Gender - Male, previously, now? Not so much... Appearance - When he was human... Personality - Although Alan is a reasonably intelligent individual with a strong love of his work, he is not one to rush things, opting to enjoy the simpler things in life when he can such as beautiful views, good food, good friends, and the occasional anime marathon. He seems to enjoy using his hands, mainly in the act of building and tinkering with things and is a rather kind, soft-spoken individual who hates seeing life forms of any type being abused or mistreated. Perhaps where he falters is his relationship with authority figures as although he will obey the law, to an extent, he is not above questioning or even going against orders if it conflicts with his own moral code. This coupled with his somewhat lax form of discipline along with a refusal to adhere to strict black and white views means that he would not be first choice to lead military-style missions. History -
Alan grew up on a colony planet mainly occupied by other humans. His childhood while not "bad" per say, was a tad complicated, the main reason being his father. The truth is that his father's side of the family had a history of their children being decorated soldiers in the UGCP and it was Alan's father's hope that his son would continue the family tradition, frequently going on about how there was a very profitable career to be found in the military, being a retired soldier himself. However, although Alan had the physical potential and the intelligence, which was evident in his skill at VR Simulation games, his interests leaned away from the military and towards other areas like being an explorer and building and fixing stuff, and the fact he had little respect for authority figures whom abused their power, having even punched a gym instructor whom verbally abused a student, which did not go over well with his father. One night, while out looking at the stars and wandering the woods, Alan saw a star fall from the sky and land not far from him. However, upon inspecting the crash site, he realized the "star" was actually a escape pod. Curiosity getting the better of him, he inspected the ship and found an alien creature unconscious. Having seen enough old sci-fi movies to know what might happen if other people found the entity, he got her away from the site and to his hide out further in the woods. For the next couple of days, when not working, Alan would sneak food and water to his guest to help gradually get her strength back. Eventually, the entity trusted him enough to reveal her identity as Aurora, a type of alien life form most referred to as a "Space Siren" and had been captured by a group of space pirates that would now be looking for her since she had managed to escape, wanting to use her DNA to create more of her kind to sell on the black market as weapons and for profit. Realizing he didn't have much choice, Alan finally came clean to his family about what he had been doing. As expected, his father was furious, but upon hearing the whole story calmed down enough to agree to help...but on their way to a rendezvous site where Aurora would be taken to safety, their shuttle was attacked by the pirates, forcing Aurora to turn herself in, though her captors also took Alan as "insurance". Once aboard the pirate's shuttle, the pirates took the DNA they needed and prepared to execute Aurora with a lethal virus...only for Alan to defend her and be fatally wounded himself. Outraged at this, Aurora's powers went crazy and she trapped all the pirates' minds in endless nightmares. Realizing there wasn't much time left, Aurora took Alan's body and managed to transfer his brain over to the clone body of herself. Without much time to process his change, Alan and Aurora escaped the ship and returned home...only to find that his own father no longer recognized him and blamed Aurora for getting his son killed. Heartbroken, the two decided to leave before the UGFC could arrive to arrest them. Once they were safe, Aurora offered to take Alan away to see the universe, and he accepted. Thus, the two departed for parts unknown, with the former human wondering if one day he could ever make things right with his father and the rest of his family... Equipment- Alan has no real equipment since he was transformed into a Space Siren except what comes naturally to them.

Name - Aurora Age - Unknown Species - Nerille, otherwise known as "Space Sirens". A race of humanoid creatures with an almost androgynous appearance. Not too much is known about them, but what is known is that they are a bit of a reclusive race, preferring to avoid conflict, travel the stars and catalogue what they discover and in the process have gained a great deal of knowledge about the workings of the universe which they have channeled into various forms of art and music. They are also said to be rather friendly, even willing to use their voices as guides to those lost during a voyage...as long you yourself mean them no harm. They also have potent psychic and physical abilities thanks to control over their mind and body, being able to bend light to turn invisible, project thoughts and mental images over long distances, lift objects of a certain weight up to a normal human with their minds, control the pitch of their voice to be able to shatter even steel, survive in space and harsh environments thanks to a psionic sphere they generate, toughen their skin to resist more damage than normal humans, and a number of other abilities that makes them dangerous to any they deem a threat. They also seem to have the ability to combine with other members of their species to form a more powerful self. Of course, the sad truth is that even one Siren would fetch a high price on the black market...giving most of them even more reason to stay clear of the public eye... Role - Freelancer Gender - Aurora typically refers to themselves as Female. Appearance - Personality - Fun-loving, joyful, and always eager for adventure are adequate terms to use for Aurora. The somewhat feisty Space Siren seems to enjoy living unbound and unshackled, free to go where she pleases and do as she desires and in some ways, has an even more lax form of discipline than Alan. All that said, she is much more intelligent than she lets on, being able to decipher a person's real personality without much effort, and seems to be a bit of a whiz at video games. Also, she greatly values her friends and will gladly put her life on the line for them. However, she is not above speaking her mind when she feels someone is going too far and behaving selfishly. History - Aurora grew up among her fellow Space Sirens. Learning their ways and customs but more often than not went off by herself to explore and learn. She loved to use her abilities to sneak around and pull off small pranks and snatch bits of food when people weren't looking. Her life was a good one...but it didn't last. One time, a space pirate's frigate came upon her clan and she stayed behind to buy the others time to escape, only to end up being captured as a result. Upon realizing what her captors planned to do with her, she panicked and used her powers to escape, fleeing in an escape pod to the colony world where Alan was. Although initially distrustful of him, he eventually won her trust and she informed him of the situation, and ended up both shocked yet grateful at his willingness to keep her safe even if it put himself and his family at risk, which is perhaps part of the reason she turned herself over willingly when the pirates returned for her. When Alan once more put himself in harm's way for her she once more tapped into the more dangerous side of her people's abilities and trapped most of the pirates minds in eternal nightmares. Feeling guilt over her part in causing Alan harm, she transferred his brain into her cloned self thus saving him. When he was rejected by his own family though, believing him dead, she took him under her wing and took him to see all the wonders of the universe...and hopefully one day reunite with her own clan... Activity - I'm available most days though Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays I won't be available till sometime in the late afternoon since those are the days I work. Every other day I'm free for almost all of it. Extras - Alan and Aurora spend most of their time fused into a single Siren, both for convenience sake and because of the boost in strength it gives them, tending to separate mainly when the situation calls for it...or when Alan would like to spend time with just his own thoughts.

In their fused state, their powers are amplified to the point they can effect other's minds to a limited degree, use telekinesis to the extent of being able to fix large objects and carry heavy loads up to 2 tons, and even use a form of body morphing, to the extent of forming claws or altering their own mass and shape, among other things. All that said, they are susceptible to psychic overload from using their abilities too much and have difficulty focusing on multiple topics or foes at one time, making it possible to surprise them. Also, long-distance travel can be exhausting and they need an outside source if they wish to travel between star systems. The two also seem to have a shared love of sweets and can sometimes be found perusing stores for ingredients to make cakes and pies.
