Mira had only heard like the first sentence of what Reiko was saying to her until a taller girl with heavy eye make-up slid open the classroom door and just...stood behind Reiko while she was ranting. The older girl did not seem interested in Mira, but naturally Mira looked up at her and unconsciously tuned Reiko's speech out as she blinked curiously at the new girl. Finally, the tall blonde interrupted Reiko, addressing Reiko as Ko-ko which made Mira smile. Ko-ko?[/] She wished she thought of such a name, it was adorable and quite fitting for Reiko, even more so than Red Shorts. Though Reiko turned her back on her, Mira listened intently to their conversation, pleased to hear the good news about Reiko getting a lead role. Ahh, lucky Reiko-chan! She silently cheered for her, and then considered doing something for her to celebrate...That was, until Reiko denied being her friend. Pressing her lips into a flat line, her face turned red. What?! They were so friends, not close friends, but definitely friends... Mira watched the taller girl disappear down the hall before her eyes met Reiko's again just to be told not to come to her rehearsal. Mira did not respond to this request, and would not make any promises to her. ____________________________________________________________ The Music Room After a run back to her dorm to get changed into a simple powder blue t-shirt dress with bananas and pineapples printed all over it, cream colored thigh highs and baby pink platform converse which added an extra three inches to her height. She then headed to the music room to meet up with the club. Along the way, she recalled the events of her day and thought about a certain student that had disappeared during lunch. Mira wondered if she was okay, but decided not to dwell on it too much. After all, it was her first year being President of The Music Club and she was too excited! "Konnichiwaaa!" She exclaimed when she stepped into the music room. Right off the bat she recognized Tohru and a smile lit up her face entire face when she saw the rocker chick. Of course she would be here... No doubt Tohru had proven herself to be a very talented musician, but even if she wasn't Mira still expected to see Tohru there. The Music Club accepted anyone as long as they had a love of music. Well, that's not exactly how it was last year as most of the club members were elitist third-years that only allowed the best of the best into the club, but things would be different this year. Mira had secured her position as Club President fair and square. "So, um..." She murmured, tapping her index finger against her lips in thought. Introductions! That would be good. "I'm Aino Mira, this year's Music Club President. Nice to meet you all!" She bowed slightly to them, and looked them over. It was a little odd standing up when most of them were seated. Maybe because she wasn't used to being in positions of authority. "Today, I don't have anything in particular planned so we can just get acquainted, or play your instruments..." Mira went over to a cupboard and pulled out some poster paper, markers, and other arts and crafts things. It was left over from whenever the music club made posters to hang in the hallways. She set it down on a desk, and then turned to everyone again. "Or if you don't want to do that you can help me make signs to hang around in the school, and-" There was something in her eye when she said that. "to show your support for Reiko Ishida's first lead performance in the school play!" A lot of the club members decided to talk among themselves and others opted to make posters. Mira picked a blank poster, and sat at an empty desk next to Tohru. "Ru-chan," She said, popping open a marker with a smile. "Do you want to go over to Drama club and see Reiko-chan's rehearsal with me? The Club President invited me." Mira failed to mention that Reiko told her not to come. "She's going to have a performance at the Welcome ceremony and I want to have these posters ready by then. You don't think she'll be angry, do you?" She asked honestly. She knew very well that Reiko was a ticking time bomb, but really... all she needed is some TLC from her friends.
