Not texting or scouring the internet to fill boring hours. No she was taking notes. She couldn’t write in the Grimoire. Not now. Not with Callie near. But she had already learned so much these last few hours. The human mind was a fickle thing and often made you forget important details. Which is why she was now typing as fast as she could. Which was not as fast as she’d like. And then she heard it. Or did she? Was the sound really there? Or was it imagined? She couldn’t say. Not even a little bit.
