Following Makoto's lead, Modlen entered the classroom and... no one noticed. No one actually seemed to care. A grey-skinned girl with wings had just stepped in and no one gave it a second thought. It felt... normal? Was this what normalcy was like? She'd gotten so used to people staring that it almost felt strange to not be noticed.

Sitting obediently in a free seat, Modlen placed the helmet over her head, following the teachers instructions. From what she could tell it was an elaborate VR headset, like an Oculus or Vive but much more hi-tech and covering more of her head. Sitting back, Modlen flipped the switch and entered the simulation.
