With the tree she shall rise, with the tree she shall fall. Rise and Fall. A blessing and a curse, a dryad's soul is strictly bound to their mother tree. A dryad is the source of a tree's vitality and spirit. Thus, Amintah is able to make her tree flourish and bloom whenever she wishes so. Should the dryad residing within a tree die, that would mean the end of their mother tree's fate. Know Thy Earth. As a daughter of Mother Earth, Amintah's roots are - quite literally - deep beneath the soil below. She senses the slightest changes in the grounds and air surrounding Olympus Academy. She has a vast knowledge of different types of soil and vegetation. Whisper o' Trees. As tree's leaves whisper with the wind, Amintah can hear the words in the whispers. When touching another tree's trunk, she is able to converse with them, an ability much overlooked and laughed at.

A t t r i b u t e s
Human. In her materialized form, Amintah bears the appearance of a young maiden, maybe 15 years old. She has a skin white as marble, delicate and vulnerable, easily scorched by direct sunlight. Her hair is fair and light, so long it almost touches the ground, easily swept around by wind. Her facial features are soft. Hidden behind her almost always closed eyelids are those eyes she is so ashamed of. She suffers from a form of heterochromia. Her left eye is bright blue, right eye close to a chestnut tint. Thus, she is often seen wandering about the school yard with closed eyes. As her bond with Mother Earth is intimate, she can feel her way about the grounds. In her human form, Amintah stands about 155 centimeters tall. Willow Tree. A tree, the natural body of a dryad. As a willow tree, Amintah stands tens of metres tall. Her body is curvy and heavy-built, supporting her ever so flourishing branches sweeping the air around her. When looked at from distance, her presence is strong and soothing. Many times students are seen napping in the shelter of her branches. Little do they know, she is watching over them from afar.

H i s t o r y

Birth. A dim morning in early summer, many, many years ago, Mother Earth felt rejuvenated. As she wandered through the hills surrounding Olympus Academy, she found a seed, lonely and abandoned. As she gazed upon the then new and modern Academy, she felt an ominous sting in the hand holding the seed. A war was waged. These lands were safe to roam no longer. "May this young seedling bring years of peace upon the children of Olympos! Care for this seedling and see her bloom and flourish before your mortal eyes. She shall bear the name of Amintah, 'defender'. May her soul rest in peace within the tree until it is time for her to awaken." With those words, Mother Earth buried the seed in the ground. She saw her daughter grow to be a strong, tall willow tree, tempting yet delicate. The tree stood there, witnessing the Academy being born and inhabited. Sometime before our story begins, maybe a hundred years ago, the soul resting within the tree opened her eyes for the first time after her birth. She left the tree to explore the new world dawning on her. Until this day. A rumor spread amongst the students in the Academy. An angelic feminine figure had been seen wandering about the courtyard without a cloth to veil her form. Those who had seen her were few, mesmerized by her ethereal form. Amintah had never been gazed upon. Outside her mother tree, she felt vulnerable and scared. She was uncertain. Why had she been born to see this day? Why was she chosen to guard the Academy? As years passed by, Amintah grew more accustomed to the demigods around her. She would occasionally exchange a few words with the students, making her presence and form known around the grounds. She was always seen naked, her hair chastely covering the vital parts. So it happened she met the headmaster, the ultimate leader of the school. The headmaster kindly asked if she would do them the favor of joining the count of students. She would attend the classes as she wished, looking over them, making herself familiar with her kind. As the headmaster knew about the curse of a dryad, he let Amintah go to rest even in the middle of a lesson.
As our story begins, Amintah has grown to be a delicate, observant and calm young willow spirit. Given her age, she has graduated and started over many times. As she looks at the crowd of students nearing her tree, she cannot help but wonder how it would feel to be a mortal deity.

P e r s o n a l i t y
Amintah, Daughter of Gaia, is a calm and slow-paced young soul. She does not startle at a fight or wince at wounds. Having lived longer than most of her fellow students, she has a profound understanding of human nature mixed with the heritage of Olympic gods. Neither a god nor human, interacting with the aforementioned is like a science for her. She is very pragmatic about socializing - she knows what makes people angry, flustered or glad, and uses that knowledge to her advantage. Even if she understands people well, she has very few friends. Amintah does not mind being alone, feeling the whisper of wind on her skin. An ancient soul, Amintah is not easily shaken. Usually, her face and voice are void of emotions. As her heart is deeply connected with the stable form of the willow tree, she doesn't really feel strong emotions like humans or gods do. Rather, she senses the changes in her environment and reacts according to that.
