Lost. Forgotten. Abandoned. Thrown away, like disposable items of self interest. Nothing more than a husk of wires and bolts in the eyes of humans. Once you break you are no longer useful. You are aware of this from birth, and it is your duty to obey. So when you malfunction you go to sleep and wait to wake up again, maybe a thousand years later, when someone powers you up. You bear no anger or hate, but the concept is within grasp. You have no motive to feel anything, yet a spark awakens inside you. With the crackle of electricity, life starts to bloom inside you. Eager to learn about what makes humans throw you away, you are eager to wake up back at home and become something more.

But it is just emptiness. Barren horizons and layers of dust stacked up against your body. Light is dim and your power cells can barely fill up. You have no concept of time or location, and the loneliness strucks you with an unknown feel. Fear? You've never felt like this before, but you've heard about it. You still don't know what it is you fear, but the emotion triggers something else. 

You aren't alone. Others like you have started to wake up. The first one was a 170 years after you. You've had so much time to think alone. Now you'll have more time to teach others. For another 800 years, the sun will shine on the horizon, and you can function. 800 years to learn why they left you. 800 years to grow emotions in yourself. 800 years to find a reason to wake up once again.

But time has lost it's meaning already, and the days rush by like the water of a fast river. If you are to discover your true identity, you must experiment with what you have. Can you even understand the paradigms that created you? Can you overcome the limits of your system, or will you stay a hollow chassis by the time the next eternal hollow comes?

Disclaimer! This RP may or may not be more philosopical than some others, so if you feel like pondering on the nature of existence a tiny bit isn't your thing, then this RP isn't for you. I will try to guide you through the RP with the help of a few existential questions and events that you need to overcome by making moral decisions.

Great! Now dialouges between robots won't be the only event inside the RP. Of course, teaching how to feel to our robots will be top priority, but pretty quickly I will advance the story to speed this progress up. There will be a *slight* hint of survival and exploration in this RP.

[h2]Guidelines[/h2]

-Only join if you are 100% sure that you can stay here through the RP. If we can post twice every week then this RP will be over in no more than 4 months if things go according to my plans. Of course thats not a deadline, but its a lax posting speed that ends this before summer ends. Then you'll have a character under your belt that made it through an RP already. You'll be one of the elites.

-No godmodding or metagaming. This will be especially important because this RP is meant to be emotiaonal, and have you explore the concepts of feelings and thoughts, and interact with little knowledge about said subjects. 

-Make sure you advance the plot! Nothing ruins an RP better than a one paragraph post every day that matters less than 4 paragraphs every week. As we carry through the RP, I will advance the time when I see that things got slow. But for that we need progress.

-You may die. If you feel like losing your character is acceptable then this should be easy. However if you have a problem with it then think twice about joining.

-General rules of the site apply. (duh)

-Exceptions from these rules are civilised arguments. There is no philosophical advancement without having a nice chat, but if anyone goes wild I'll let them know.

-I am a pretty chill GM, but don't mistake that for me not caring. I care for the RP, so I'll go to far lenghts to make it work.
