I'd like to join as a Halfing Cook and Scout.

Interested in finding out what is and what isn't edible, making tasty dishes, and in making maps of the new land.  Carries a backpack that is normal size for everyone else, quite large for him, full of some basic cooking tools.  

I'll do a full character sheet but I wanted to see if this sounds agreeable first.

Non-combat character, gatherer and cook, sneaky, armed with Butchers Knife he doesn't want to use and a simple sling primarily used to distract while he bounces away on his little legs.

Maybe a dancer or singer or story teller or something along those lines.  He's basically around to keep morale up and map things out for future expeditions.
