largely. It follows a pattern of talking point --> meme --> conspiracy theory --> internet sleuthing --> meme --> piece of insignificant evidence marked THIS IS BIG --> meme --> conspiracy totally confirmed

TBF though that's basically how CNN operates at this point, minus the entertainment value.
