Enzo
After dropping off his belongings in his dorm room Enzo grabbed the stack of fliers that Dylan had left with him and helped pass them out. He would’ve preferred to spend his free time training in the school’s top notch facilities but it couldn’t hurt to have Dylan owe him a small favor. Enzo had to admit the guy threw great parties, and he’d learned to make wine from the wine god himself so it was just next to perfection. He waved at Micah when they passed each other in the courtyard, knowing that they’d surely run into each other again sooner or later. He’d handed out a few of the fliers before he was approached by Auria, who he knew from a few classes. Hey you. Enzo noticed the way she walked, swiftly and silently, like a panther stalking its prey. She possessed skill enough to earn his respect as a warrior, not the purely brutish type of warrior that he was, but an equally dangerous fighter none the less. The spark in her eyes could only belong to a child of Hades, a god his father spoke well of as they had a mutually beneficial relationship; Ares sent souls to Hades’ domain and Hades gave war meaning for without the consequence of death war would have no weight. Enzo respected his father and made it a point to respect the children of those gods with whom his father was friendly with. “Hey yourself, blue eyes.” He said with a smile as he handed her a flier. “First day back party, it’s Dylan’s thing, you know how those Dionysus’ kids like to party. It’s a guaranteed good time though, it’s always nice to blow off some steam and let loose right?” Enzo said as he tried to remember if he’d seen her at any of the parties from the previous year. From there interactions in classes Auria reminded him of how distant he had been when he first got here. He had been wary of the other students, used more to the reactions mortals had around him, reactions of anger, hatred, and violence. He remembered what it was like to be surrounded by people and still feel alone. He wasn’t sure if she was alone here, maybe he just always caught her away from her friends, but he knew he was lucky to have found friends like he had with Micah and Riddley. While Dylan could be a bit much at times he was lucky to have roomed with him as well, helping throw parties had really brought Enzo out of his shell and he liked making sure other students felt as welcomed as he had been made to feel. Mortals could never understand them and gods would never truly accept them as equals but this was the one place they could all belong among their own. “I really hope you can make it out.” He added.
