Quinn Quinn gave a small smile and nod to Tyson as he went off to fetch some fire-wood. He appreciated Tyson being here for this trip. It had been so long since he had gone camping, and it was nice to do with a friend. He sat down on the log they had set up around. He thought they would just be on a camp-site to be out and roughing-it in the deep woods. Honestly he was a little bit nervous but Tyson's skills with animals and general confidence helped ease his worrying. Just as he settled to listen to the sounds of the forest, he heard fast approaching footsteps, and the sound of an excited Tyson. He just sort of nodded and looked at the other boy bewildered. He smiled and gestured to lead the way. "Let's go then!" Keeping pace behind his friend they ran towards the split, and in a short bit he was in another world, quite literally. He took one step past Tyson and wham. He was in a slightly new place, with weird creatures about. One in particular also seemed to be camping. She was short and brightly colored. And she made Quinn freeze. He was shocked to say the least, and didn't know what to do. Going pale...er, he froze up with hair on end. "UhHh" Slipped out of his mouth.
Liarty The dark figure moved through the forest. A sullen look on his face, he stepped around bush and over roots as if he had walked this path a thousand times. And he likely had, as there was a trail of dirt made in the grass. He ducked under a branch, and over the crest of a bramble, he could see the orange glow of a campfire. The corner of his lips tipped lower still, and his brows knit ever so slightly. He flexed his right arm slightly as if a reflex. He was readying his quick-draw, just in case. He didn't think people would come around here. He only lived near the boundary so that others would stay away. Oh well, there's stupid people everywhere. Or bandits. He stepped carefully, and closer. Drawing in like a shadow behind a tree, to see a boy standing frozen and confused wearing odd clothing. Across the campfire was a Lalafell, seemingly unaware of her guest. He squinted at the boy. Was he from the other side? That could be dangerous. He decided to switch from his one handed weapon to his larger one. Tapping the red tipped finger to an insignia on the bottom of the crossbow. Flames kill humans right? Probably. It does most things.
