I thought of a fun relic that'll be pretty strong later, but silly at first.

[i]A coveted holy blade of an ancient hero. The blade is crafted with masterwork quality, and is hard to break. As far as the intrinsic qualities of the blade go, it only has one known magical ability; When pointed at someone who speaks a lie, the blade will glow red. When pointed at someone who speaks the truth, the blade will glow blue. It also glows a silvery white at times for reasons currently unknown. Man, relics don't come with manuals, huh?[/i]

Basically, since relics grow stronger as time goes on, so too will the blade. I figured it may develop some divination-style abilities, and may even develop supernatural accuracy. Of course, this also entails more silly abilities!
