[@EchoicChamber] I was just putting a little bit of RL politics in the mix as Asia is relatively disconnected from the west. I also did it to help explain why we have zero Asian characters (save for Yoko) when we have tons of European/American, and even some native Africans.

So, I'd say it's really up to you, as the GM.
