I [i]love[/i] that 'news' is in quotes, first of all. Second, just because you can find pigs at a farm, doesn't mean the farm has the best BBQ in town. Third, of [i]course[/i] there is unique content at T_D, in the same way there is unique content on RPG, because its users are human beings (unlike /r/esist and that ilk, whose users are bots). T_D also has (by a large number) more users than anything you listed (and most other subreddits), so it stands to reason that it has more original content. Fourth, I never hear these sorts of critiques for the Daily Show or Samantha Bee or Colbert Report or John Oliver -- if they can do it why can't we? And fifth it's irrelevant, I get my [i]actual news[/i] from BBC anyway, and if you like I'll explain why.

Last, you know, maybe I'm wrong and there are plenty of places JUST LIKE T_D but better. If you can point out another small-government, anti-corruption, pro-US, conservative forum which celebrates racial differences and LGBT and fights media bullshit, you know.... Obviously I'm into that stuff. Link me, plz. I'll totally go there too. Maybe one that's a teensie bit less islamophobic.
