[@floodtalon][@Sho Minazuki] Akoni did his best to ignore Henry's comments. The Champion, however, gave Akoni a measure of confidence that they wouldn't be a complete waste in this endeavor. With two angel soldiers, the champion, and Henry giving their full attention to the demonic Hatred, the old mage turned his eye toward the prize. There shouldn't be any way such a demon could hold up against such a blitz. The flames surrounding his magical aura died off into light embers, the Firebrand dismissed, its job done. Akoni focused on running toward the orb quickly as he could while the angels were focused on the Hatred. They might be playing ball now, but there was no telling if they would be so amiable to a human taking such a powerful relic, agent of the Council or not. Besides, he had exactly one goal today: finding and defeating Sevrin. He wasn't so naive as to think he wouldn't need every single advantage in that fight.
