[@aspie3000] Alice ignored the barbarian as he gloated over landing a hit on her, she had better things to focus on. As she chanted, the ground around her began to writhe and glow a dark gold color. Soon the portal would take full form, a swirling door of energy connecting this world to the mad hell. Maybe she'd let it keep expanding once she was through? It would be nice to see these idiotic foes of hers fall through and begin to slowly lose their minds in the realm of her lord. She was on the last stanza of the spell, the phrasing of each word slipping easily off her tongue as she chanted. At least, until Hrothgar forced her onto her back on the ground, interrupting her spell and trapping her there with a foot on her chest as he raised his weapon for the final blow. She didn't flinch or even blink at the barbarian as he did this, but her mind was racing. She would find a way out of this. The thought crossed her mind just as the hammer was about to drop- this guy was an idiot. She spoke mentally, everyone in the area able to hear her words. "Well, considering it took three of you and a Demon to defeat just me, I know you have no chance against our dear Maximilian. In fact, I doubt you'll even make it to the cave of ghosts. Do you even know where that is?" She paused to grin at the barbarian, the glow in her eyes disappearing completely as she did. Without the unnatural glow, she looked almost like any normal woman, if you could ignore her fangs at the corners of her smile that is. "Go ahead. Kill me. My soul will join my lord in his Mad Hell, and there I will watch you all joyfully as you try and try and fail to even see Max before you too die, and join me in our Hell."
