It wasn't unusual as most scientists didn't really serve on a spaceship before being signed for Atlantis. Earth's space cruisers were very few and still being build. Clarice herself was part of hte original sg teams and had piloted both goa'uld vessels in space on occasions and X-302s. All vine vessels though she had mostly bad memories of her time on the goa'uld ones... That past still haunted her to this day, may have been one of hte reasons she joined the Atlantis expedition so fast, she jsut wished to get away from the Milky Way.[color=f7941d]" Don't worry, it just gets more interesting from this point!"[/color] She stated and quickly turned on the cloak, heading for the location of the landed wraith cruiser. 

 [color=f7941d]"It appears to indeed have been caught in a battle, but with whom?"[/color] The soldier asked as she got closer and closer, noting the extensive hull damage and the lack of any escorts."[color=f7941d] Okey I will go for landing on a isolated area of the cruiser where we should gain entrance with minimal resistance if any. Cassandra, make haste in scanning for any points of interest that give of signals, Rush, you will guard the jumper and secure our escape route." [/color]She quickly gave the orders as the cloaked jumper landed near a very back up seemingly entranceway into the cruiser. Hell it appeared to not even be part of hte original design, but just a big hole leading into one of the halls. Her lifesigns detector didn't give off any signals either.
