Relations Mandy Ellison A spoilt rich girl with too much time for herself and her looks, with the one redeeming quality of being a damn good witch. At least, that's the outward opinion Izaiah gives of Mandy, in reality, he'd be hard pressed to remember a time he didn't think about her, ever since they first met in a Herbology class he had no interest in. Watching her fall in love with his best friend was tough, something that has made him overtly bitter towards her, but which is expressed in a form of argumentative banter than can be rather entertaining, for both the pair, and their peers. Dexter Montague The closest thing Izaiah has to a true friend among the current class of Aurors, but even then, their relationship is defined by competition. Both beaters, both driven in sports, academics and now Aurorhood, Izaiah will never let him forget how he missed out on the Quidditch cup, and in return, Dexter will point to how it took Izaiah two years longer to make starter on the Slytherin team. Still, they are good friends, and the competition only pushes them both on. Demetria She does get credit for having been a professional quidditch player, and yet more for giving it up to be an Auror. While it would be inaccurate to say Izaiah doesn't like Demetria, he finds her a little too mother hen for his liking, perhaps something of the innate optimism that seems to define those of her house is just a little too far for the pragmatic Penrose, but he wouldn't go so far as to say she actively ignores him, he just struggles to take her seriously, despite her clear ability. Keira Bit of a booksmart, but appreciates her for both her ability and matter-of-fact nature, refreshing in comparison to the bleeding hearts Dexter and Demetria (affectionately known as the Double Ds when discussed together) and less extreme than the Queen Bitch act that is Mandy. Knows not to pick unnecessary fights with her, or they'll just drag on between a rock and a hard place.
