He starts sanding the car down, starting with the hood.  He does the cross hatch pattern, keeping it going for some time until the hood is completely bare.  He keeps going, heading next to the fenders.  Eventually he gets the entire front end completely sanded to bare metal.  Covered in paint he decides to take a break, sitting down against the car.
