Dylan
Dylan smiled wide as he passed out fliers and exchanged pleasantries with students. Phoenix let him know that she would be attending, and he hadn’t recalled seeing her at too many of his events so he was glad to see she was coming around. “Wouldn’t be the same without ya, Frenchie.” He said before shifting his attention to the next person. Jason/Jamie accepted his flier and confirmed his attendance. “Fantastic, it wouldn’t be a party without clan Aphrodite there.” He said with a wink. Now Jason/Jamie’s powers were pretty impressive. Dylan, being the son of a fertility god, could certainly appreciate powers of seduction. He pinned some fliers too trees around the school and all over the bulletin board of student activities. The rain continued to pour down but his fliers, hexed to keep their message a secret from adults, stayed dry thanks to the help he had from some of the more magically inclined demigods. This magic didn’t protect them from Hudson, who, of course, took one from Enzo so that he could crumple it up and toss it to the ground to show off his ‘I’m too cool and apathetic to enjoy a good time’ attitude. “Oh look another rebel without a cause dysfunctional child of Hades, how passé. I guess partying with the living isn’t your thing?” He mused, as he passed Hudson, and picked up the crumpled flier from the ground and disposed of it in the proper receptacle. No need to anger Demeter or any of the other earth deities, Dionysus was god of the grape harvest as well as winemaking after all, so he had a natural fondness of earth deities. Plus, he knew a few children of Demeter who grew some killer green in there dorms and he preferred to stay on their good sides. [@JaceBeleren][@jeroukoo] [@Erklings25]
Enzo
Enzo noticed the stiffening of her posture, the hiding of her hands, and playful smile that dropped just long enough to be noticeable. Was this a trick? Engage him then lead him away from the others for an ambush She seemed tense and uncomfortable, but the cause of this was what worried him, were her nerves heightened in the anticipation of attack or from the awkwardness that could come from social interactions. He could not see her hands. Do you want to talk somewhere else? It’s getting a bit crowded here. He remembered the time before the academy, when mortals would attempt to best him in combat, when groups of them would jump him. He remembered their tense muscles before the violence, smelling anticipation and sweat on them before they foolishly tried to beat down the Son of Ares. Could she really be that foolish? He wondered as the anger in him rose. A deep breath. 10, 9, 8. Exhale. Inhale. 7, 6, 5. Let it got. She does not want to fight. He reassured himself. What reason could she have to want to fight. 4, 3, 2. Exhale again. Focus, she wants to talk to you, crowed spaces may make her uncomfortable. Enzo reassured himself, he remembered how uncomfortable he had been around large groups, always on edge waiting for one them to strike out at him. 1. Relax. The anger was buried again, deep within, where it belonged and where it was unable to harm those around him. “Sorry, I uh spaced out a bit, yeah we can go someplace else, I’m sure Dylan has the flier thing covered.” He said relaxing back to his previous demeanor. Then Hudson, Auria’s half-brother and another child of Hades snatched one of his fliers and threw it on the ground. It was typical for Hudson but Enzo found it a little rude and most of the time small slights like that would be enough to set of his temper. He managed to let that go as well, mostly because Hudson was on his way before Enzo really had a chance to react. His father should be proud, he was two for two today at keeping his temper in check. “How was your summer?” He asked turning his focus to Auria and allowing Hudson to leave his mind. [@ViolentViolet]
