[indent]Lawson is conventionally attractive, at a physical level. That much is undeniable; he dresses relatively well, despite what you might think once you know what he’s like. Once upon a time, he had a tendency to wear Dragon Ball merch everywhere, but then he learned about weebs. And, furthermore learned that he didn’t really like weebs.

Now he mostly wears Godsmack and Marilyn Manson t-shirts, and comfort fit blue jeans. He keeps his hair cut the same way, by the same person, and has for the past five years. Probably, he will all his life unless he moves away. Which is looking less and less likely as he goes along.

Lawson also has a tendency to wear a plain, black Dickies work shirt over his band merch tees. Law pulls no punches, he goes hard in that paint and doesn’t give a shit about your feelings. If you do something retarded, he [i]will[/i] call you a retard. If you fuck something up, he will call you out on it. And he’ll argue and shout with you the whole damn way, he’s probably right, you’re at least eighty-seven percent wrong, go fuck yourself. 

That’s the basics of it, it goes much deeper than that.

An endless spout of movie references, and lyrics to songs. The Law never shuts up and it doesn’t stop for nobody. He’ll ramble for hours about stuff that [i]nobody[/i] cares about, even himself at times. ([color=08c7d1][b]”LAWSON. Shut the [i]fuck[/i] up! You’ve been talking about the history of Monopoly for like twenty minutes! Why are you doing this to me!?”[/b][/color] [color=1e8910][b]”Honestly, dude. I don’t even know.”[/b][/color] Christopher Robin screams internally.) Lawson has his likes and his dislikes, and it’s hard for him to focus on anything other than his projects, which range from DBZ AMVs to Bodies (yes, he’s still 13), to editing together clips for CR himself. What? The class is, like, a family, right? Lawson just happens to be that cousin that people only like when he’s a few shots down or at least three hits on the j.

Lawson is widely considered one of the most frustrating people in the class to deal with; even by his closer friends. He either doesn’t know how to be nice, or he doesn’t care and it could really go either way depending on the day. Really, once you learn to live with the undeniable asshole part of his personality, he isn’t [i]that[/i] bad, and can actually be kind of fun to laugh with. Or at.[/indent]

If you can deal with him for long enough to poke past the rough exterior, he’s virtually a teddy bear on the inside. His only true loves in life are airplanes and the internet. One of which he inherited from his father, and one of which he had no choice but to learn. He spends most of his time at school floating around different message and image boards, and is always on top of what’s new in his communities.

Hard to keep focused, Lawson bounces around between subjects a lot and has developed a certain way of talking to people when he isn’t being an ass. He’ll say something important, then push the conversation away from that by adding something nonsensical. ([color=1e8910][b]”Hey, I heard you ate shit the other day? You okay? Oh, by the way, did you know that mangoes are so acidic they’re basically negative calories?”[/b][/color] [color=08c7d1][b]”...what?”[/b][/color]) And then from there, he’ll let the other person drive the conversation. Want to broach the possibly touchy subject? Sure, let’s do it. Wanna keep it lowkey and bullshit about the random stuff that Lawson knows? Bring it right the fuck on.

When he [i]is[/i] focused, as rare as it tends to be, Lawson is capable of knocking out fairly impressive projects in short amounts of time, which is the main reason he uploads something new to his YouTube channel almost weekly. He’s had the channel since he was much younger, around eleven or twelve years old, and you can go from the first video to the newest one to see how much he’s learned and grown since then. It’s a relatively impressive transformation.

While not the most popular person on the block, Lawson has unfortunately (for him, anyway) landed the position of the resident A/V guy for the school. A teacher putting on a presentation, and the projector isn’t agreeing with them? Call the Law. Need to record a football game for practice purposes? Law has reluctantly got you. He can often be seen wandering through the halls tugging along a cart with all his equipment.

The only catch he ever gave Mr. Locke was that Lawson needed to be able to use the stuff whenever he wanted, and he needed to be given a budget and left to his own devices to pick out high quality equipment. Rather than spend a bunch of money on a new staff member, the principal had agreed.. and now Lawson uses most of the barely two year old equipment for recording out of class things. Quality over quantity, after all.

His favorite thing to do outside of handling all that shit for the school is… probably eating, honestly. Something about his life builds him up a helluva an appetite, and despite his best efforts, he doesn’t manage to put on a single pound. Damn fast metabolism.[/indent]

[color=1e8910]║ Brief History ║[/color]
[indent]He was born on the Ramstein Air Force base, in Rhineland-Palatine, Germany. His mother was a stay at home mom, and his father was an Air Force officer, working on base largely as an aircraft engineer. After seven more years in the service, moving around between Germany, different parts of the US, Spain, and South Korea, Lawson’s father, Captain Avery Barrett, retired from the force and found himself a job working as an aircraft mechanic at the Denver Airport.

A swanky job, Avery considered his options for where his family could live, and ultimately decided on Westworth, where Avery himself had grown up. It’d taken a while of deliberating, but after sometime, Avery realized that he’d rather his son have the same small town USA growing up experience that he’d had. In later years, Lawson would declare this the worst decision his father had ever made, second only perhaps to having a child. After all, Law was pretty fucking terrible.

From an early age, he’d shown interest in videography, messing around with a camera on base that his mother bought him for his fifth birthday. To this day, she still has the tapes that Lawson recorded of different bases that they’d lived in. As time went on, he got himself his first computer, and learned about free programs like Audacity to mix and play with audio.

Growing up, Lawson realized around 8th grade that Windows Movie Maker and Audacity both sucked, and he pirated the fuck out of Adobe’s entire Creative Suite, and Sony Vegas Pro, and PreSonus. That same year, he spent all of his Christmas money on a computer to help him work with all these new programs, and every year since then, it’s just been upgrade upgrade upgrade. Despite the way he talks, he doesn’t play that many games, though he [i]could[/i] with his rig.

The machine is for work purposes only. He can play outside, dammit, that’s what it’s there for. When Lawson isn’t found behind his desk, he’s likely fucked off somewhere in the woods, exploring and scouting things out. Sometimes, he takes his drone for a flight, scanning the overhead of the forest and seeing how fast he can go without crashing it.

On his fifth (and most expensive) drone now, Lawson is relatively skilled, and sometimes uses the drone to get better shots when helping Christopher Robin record boarding videos.

In the future, Lawson aspires to be like his father, and work on airplanes, or even better! [i]Fly[/i] them. However, he feels like this is a perhaps unrealistic goal, as he doesn’t think he’d score too high on the ASVAB, and the idea of actually going to school for an additional four to six more years is intimidating to him. He thinks his future most likely lies in video editing and audio engineering.

Which isn’t a terrible future, at least he’ll have plenty of time to shitpost.[/indent]
