I have been removed from this RP. I was informed of "being out of character" and was told to change it. I was insulted, and basically replied with "To answer you with an equally blunt (and inappropriate response): No, I am not playing my character incorrectly. Your understanding of him is simply false. Reconsider your conclusion, please," among other things. Below is the conversation, that I believe should be viewed and judged. I don't mean to spur anyone on, but I believe it's my right to at least tell people what has occurred. It simply didn't feel right leaving without personally telling you guys why. It has been pun while it lasted, and I thank you for your time.

Hey man, couldn't help but notice that you're playing Adrion totally differently to how his character sheet describes him. His sheet says he's kind of a fun loving guy, who laughs too loudly etc, but you've got him as a Jason Bourne style uber-edgy elite assassin type, who can freerun and is a highly trained killer despite being like, 18. On top of that, he's also quite condescending it seems, referring to the rest of the team as 'kittens' who are going to get themselves killed, that he's been charged with protecting. This isn't allowed. I'm aware that characters change and develop, but you have to play them according to their sheets at first, otherwise the only thing I based my judgement of you on, and used to accept you, was essentially entirely false. Furthermore, I'm not sure if it's been made clear enough yet, but everyone on the team is, whilst not a super soldier, very good at whatever it is they do, and very well armed. They're not kittens, and Adrion does not need to protect them or feel responsible for them. You can play him that way if you like, but if you want to you're going to have to resubmit your CS accordingly - and that play style will have consequences, as any would. In short; either change your CS to fit your character (and re-submit it, so I can accept you again) or change your characterisation of Adrion to fit the CS, please.

A character is a human, not a X=Y equation. Throw them into a ridiculous situation and they'll react. Just because his character says he loves to laugh does not mean he will be laughing 24/7 for the rest of the RP. He is fun loving but that does not mean he is going to open his legs to any friendly looking person, in any foreign situation. It would be ludicrous if he must follow the character sheet 100% of the time, as the character sheet is open to interpretation. It's like a one page Constitution, and to not being able to do a thing that it does not specify would kill the entire RP, or would create a character that is so shallow that they can be described in one or two paragraphs, which is not humans or characters are. To clarify, yes, he is laugh loving, but when his life and comrades are in danger you won't see him exchanging kisses with the enemy. From the beginning he was a silly person, getting drunk, looking at pretty women and adoring Aurora via comical interpretations. What part of is a highly trained assassin? Being trained with the arrow means he can hit with an arrow. He's hunted and he's had experience killing beasts and possibly people. I added a "merciless" a couple days ago to not mean he is an assassin, but that he has no sympathy for his enemies and is willing to kill. Just because he is willing to kill "evil" people does not mean he does not desire to laugh or make friends. He is a Hunter, as I described in my character sheet. Why can he not climb buildings that are very closely connected? I never made him jump ridiculous heights or perform spider-man tricks. He took a tactical position, with a view of his allies and their upcoming destination to protect both himself and his comrades, as he is a scout/long range/silent type. This is the best circumstances for Adrion to shine. He scouted, and he is going to escort his teammates whom do not have the same skills which enable Adrion to thrive in a hunting/hunted situation, as again, he is a Scout. Throw him in a close combat or a chaotic fray and he'll be in a world's of trouble. He does not use guns, and guns are not good at night, which bow and arrow is. Yes, he is 17, but that does not mean he can't think or keep guard without stabbing himself in the guts. For the kittens comment, it's just the characters god damn perspective. Just because he thinks it does not mean it to be true. And that comment wasn't even done in a condescending manner, but a playful, everybody is going to fuck up in attempts to try to and save the world manner. I believe your character himself told us how hopeless and difficult this plan is, which makes me confused as why you think the moral of the crew should be sky rocket "I can fly mode." I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. Will I be able to operate him this way if if I add the tag "Is prone to a variety of human emotion?" I realize I'm probably coming off as aggressive, but declaring I'm not playing my character correctly, without leaving room for discussion, and ordering me change it is beyond insulting to a Writer. To answer you with an equally blunt (and inappropriate response): No, I am not playing my character incorrectly. Your understanding of him is simply false. Reconsider your conclusion, please.

The other characters, as I will say again, are highly skilled and equally - if not more so - capable of handling themselves. In fact, Aurora is herself, a hunter, with literally 30+ more years of experience than Adrion. I'm not to lie, if I had fully noticed his age initially, I would have denied you, because a 17 year old being a true master of anything is simply not going to happen, even in the wildest fantasy. Furthermore, I challenge the notion that a hunter accustomed to the woodlands and wilds should be equally as comfortable hunting and climbing in a urban environment - or indeed that they should to climb at all. Hunters hunt primarily through trapping, and through patience, rather than parkouring themselves to the top of a highrise and using a bow and arrow in the dark. Additionally, if he is the type of person to take things seriously when action starts to take place, then I find it hard to believe that his internal monologue would be playful. You are not playing this game as a member of a team, you are playing it very self interestedly, and rather rudely. The other characters are mostly rational choices with practical weapons and at least semi-realistic ages for the roles they fill. Yours is wish fulfillment, and as a writer myself I must say that I'm hurt you'd compare us. Finally, I'd like to point out that a GM's word is final in the context of the RP. I made this universe, it is mine, and the story is one that I am spinning, ultimately. You don't get to tell me I've interpreted your character wrongly, because your character is simply not up for interpretation. You wrote up a CS that I looked at, and used to inform my decision that your character would fit well into the rough framework of an organic story. I was wholly and entirely wrong, and I should never have invited you to apply again after your first mishap of a character. Please consider yourself kicked from the RP. Your character will be dealt with in as respectable a manner as your behaviour has demanded. If you think I am being unfair, or that you might want to reconsider yourself your decision to object to the idea that a character sheet, whilst not set in stone, is meant to mean something, please feel free to voice your concerns here. I won't get to notifying the OOC that you've been removed until later today, so you have a few hours.

The humorous thing about your comment about my charcters age is that most other characters are 20. You have a point there, and I should have increased his age by a couple of years, but it's simply invalided when concerning other characters such Ariah and Cole, , whose difference is only 3 years. Any human can climb, it's really not as hard as you seem to think it is. You don't have to be a Master of anything. It's also true that I'm not using a "practical weapon,' but not everything has to be done with killing. A scout is a scout. He doesn't need to kill. He needs to be quite and fast. Again, you're assuming false things. Yes you are the creator of this RP, but fortunately, the writers are not open to abuse from your little'st whims. Though I dislike criticizing someone's a character when this is an issue about writing, I must say that arrogance flows through each word you speak. You sir, are a smart and capable person. That however, does not mean you are the only thing that can speak, as you are as stiff as a dildo. Treating people like dogs will get you nowhere. Yes, I'll spend my time more wisely. I'll be informing them myself, thank you very much.
