[@Fxcail] I personally enjoy having people like that, I like to learn. Obviously probably will get into disagreements, but I'm down to have you around. (I'm the same way with Dungeons and Dragons)
Thank you, I appreciate the acceptance of my exceedingly analytical RP mind. Hahaha. I would like to know what the current time periods, lore is. Are we sticking to utmost canon, are we going with the idea that Albus has - as of 2017, just started Hogwarts?( Born in 2006, he should be roughly 11 this year.) Who is headmaster, is it Minerva? Would like to know about teachers per class etc. I actually play pretty decent Professor's if you'd care for some. I have a Potion's Master, whom happens to be a Lycanthrope. Might I play two characters, a student and a Professor? If you wouldn't mind, I have a lot of question's to set up the world around my character, to know what is a viable option as far as character creation and Student x teacher interaction. I already have a character in mind - When are we starting the RP for instance? Is it set on the first day? Will we have the joy of riding the train, and being " sorted " ? I would also like to minutely point out, that though I do agree with a lot of the assumptions that Canary has made about someones destined house- there is a very integral key, to joining a particular house. The hat takes into account, what you want. Harry said " Not Slytherin.. " - and the hat discussed with him, told him he had potential in that house, but because Harry said " Not - " the two distinctions, being that Slytherin and Gryffindor are nearly identical.. other than small opposing ideals; he was put into Gryffindor, mainly because Harry chose to go there. On the other side, if I am not mistaken, Draco was just repeating " Slytherin.. " - in his head, over and over, and therefore, was immediately, with barely a hover over his head, sent over to Slytherin. I'm pretty sure that no matter your random differences, if someone desires the house, because they think it's where they belong, the hat will sort them. If nothing more, perhaps I feel- as I do with myself, having people take the sorting quiz from Pottermore, as if they were their character, and demanding that they be truly honest with answering their questions, would be important. Also, getting your Patronus early on, and having it hidden until Year 5-6 ( As I recall, the books and movie attempted to stress that though the students learned the Patronus at Yr 5, it was actually meant to be a spell for the elder students ) - would also help emphasize someones personality type. These are all things I've been thinking of, I apologize if it's too much. If I seem too much a hassle, please let me know if you'd rather not have to deal with me, and I'll just skidaddle lol.
