[hider=Kill it!]Rapidly typing in the commands after seeing his success, Jason made a move to get a channel between himself and the other two heavy hitters. Once his unit confirmed connection to both Hon-Yi and Paladin, Jason began to speak. [color=0076a3][b]"Paladin and Hon-Yi, it looks like our shield is about to give way. We need that crystal offline, and it looks like this sucker is weak against physical damage. Paladin, I can fire a heavy shot at the weakened position in hopes of breaking it, or you can try to break it and I will unleash an explosive round in the spot to blow this guy from the inside. Hou-Yi, those mists are intercepting your shots it seems, what if you focused on blowing apart some of the crystal's friends?"[/b][/color] He said before pausing to take a breath as he checked status screens. All green so far. [color=0076a3][b]"If either of you have suggestions, I'm open to them. I have no idea what makes this thing fire, but I'd think it best to destroy the damn thing before it does again. Serah would kill me for becoming melted space goo."[/b][/color] He said, even as he checked to ensure that his system's shields were still online. 

 

"My shield really can't take another hit here, so the crystal has to go or I'm next." Ariin answered, as he readied another volley from Pompey. "Krista I would move in case this doesn't work. Not sure the shield will protect us from whatever the hell it's firing again, I really don't wanna get the new team mate killed." Ariin locked Paladin again on the target. "Jason after my shots try to shatter it... Remember this doesn't work I probably get cooked, no pressure." The boy smiled, and the coil gun released it's twin rounds leaving the chamber with a thump as the next set loaded and spun before they two launched. "Shots away, hit it now!"


[color=0076a3][b]"Targeting computer has a lock, firing explosive shell. Break, you little bitch."[/b][/color] Jason said calmly, as Ribasu's railgun loaded and fired a high explosive she'll towards the weak spot left by Ariin's attacks. 


Krista took a moment to let the words sink in before replying. [color=tomato]"Roger that. Good luck. I think that it's the destruction of the mini-Mists that cause it to return fire."[/color] Before she had even finished the statement she'd started moving back from the shield. She brought up a situational feed of the battlefield, looking for nearby targets she could engage. Well within range was the group of enemies near Black Star and Yeager, typical CWM from the looks of it. Still they outnumbered her allies and were clustered together. Black Star was moving towards the crystal to try and aid in the fight. Her plasma cannon was already charging as she opened up a channel to Black Star. [color=tomato] "Black Star, this is the Hou-Yi, be advised, the mini-mists will move to defend the Cyrstal. Additionally we are going to launch another round of bombardment soon."[/color] After sending out that message, she turned her attention to the groups of CWM that the Yeager was engaging. After a quick targeting solution from the Prometheus, she let off a shot towards the cluster of targets. (Firing at H6)


Ariin braced for impact he really hoped wasn't coming, even if the shield did break Paladin sported some of the heaviest armor in it's class. He just hated to idea of being exposed to enemy fire after all enough damage could short his reactor and then he couldn't arm the coils. So holding his breath and shutting his good eye as the robotic one watched for incoming fire he tried to calm down and focus. Everything would be fine, right?[/hider]
