Gender: Female

Age: Ena is a first year, 16 years old. 

Appearance: Check the picture. Ena stands at about 5'7 with a slender but fit build. Notably instead of having a regular schoolbag Ena has a Japanese Self-Defense Force style backpack; a gift from her father.

Personality: Watari Ena is, first of all, shy and timid towards those that are new to her. However, once she gets used to a person she is much livelier compared to before. Still, if someone interests her she will eventually gather the courage to talk to them, though not get too attached: it hurts her to have to say goodbye to them after constantly transferring. Ena likes to try new activities and food, though her concerns about maintaining her weight lead her to exercise fairly regularly to keep her. While on the subject, Ena likes to do physical activities such as run every morning and is always up for a little bit of climbing, no matter where it may be. 

Ena is a very curious person, having always been interested in the rumors that make it to her. This includes the various ghost stories that circulate. Finally, Ena is nice to a fault and treats others in a manner of respect at the very least and values her friends, for she does not have many due to her constant transfers from school to school. 

History: Ena was born under a father who was and still is an officer in the Japanese Self-Defense Force(JSDF) and a mother who is a businesswoman who frequently travels abroad. At first, Ena went whereever her father went living in a nearby apartment along with her mother as the parents decided that she will live with her father. As a result of staying with her father Ena was widely considered a military brat and detested this fact. Despite her feelings about the subject, her father taught Ena basic discipline and self-defense, emphasizing "Ena, you will eventually need this either to protect your friends or yourself. Pay attention!" And so, throughout her years of schooling she always had those lessons of hand-to-hand after school either through her father or a trusted family friend, giving her no time to do any other activities such as clubs or looking into any rumors that piqued her interest. Though Ena liked the work-out and enjoyed the time she spent with her father, she always felt that her curiosity was unsatisfied.

Ena's mother, on the other hand, was not home as frequently as her father who was on garrison duty. However, when she was home Ena was always happy to see her mother who brought souvenirs from all around the world. This ranged from a small bald eagle statue from the United States to the recipes for a "biscuit" from Britain to the Chinese calender from China. These little curiosities always brought up questions in her mind, in which her mother always answered kindly. Lesson wise, Ena's mother taught her to be polite to everyone and not be afraid to to satisfy her curiosity if given the chance. She also taught Ena how to be productive at home, something her father was not good at.

When Ena was nearing her time to choose a high school, her parents told her to choose any school she wanted, with a recommendation to Yurei High School due to it's ease of access for the both of them. Both respecting her parent's wishes, desiring a stable place to stay and passing the entry exams, Ena's parents gave her a modest sum of money and allowed her to live in her own apartment. Entering the school, Ena heard plenty of rumors of ghost stories and other supernatural tales. Upon hearing that the occult research club was now open, Ena's curiosity won out and she decided to join the club, both to satisfy her curiosity for the ghost stories and attempt to make new friends.

Skills: 

Knows self-defense hand-to-hand techniques- Ena knows self-defense and though hesitant to use it is willing to do so for any friends she makes. If frightened, Ena may resort to these techniques by instinct.

Fit- Ena is fit for a person who is not in any athletic events due to this lifestyle being beaten into her from day one. Though no champion by any means, Ena is at least good at endurance runs especially. She is also a avid climber.

Disciplined- Ena was taught discipline from a young age and knows how counter her instincts if the situation calls for it. 

Organization- Ena is good at organizing, and is in fact a neat freak. To her, everything has its place and there is a place for everything. 

Other: 
Orientation-wise, Ena goes both ways. She never put any thought in whether she likes men or women but is attracted to whoever catches her eye. 
Ena enjoys most food items and is willing to eat almost anything. Almost.
