Shawn came over and marked off a few things on her paper- equations she didn’t quite recognize along with notes explaining them to a decent degree. She looked back and gave him a small nod of thanks as he headed off to help the other kid. He was a pretty nice dude, helping the new students and such. She went back to work when he headed off, applying the new notes she had gotten in the areas she was stuck in. It took a little bit of effort in rearranging, but soon she was producing answers that matched the textbook. At this rate, the notes coupled with what she already knew would help her keep up with the class. She looked over to see how her tutor was doing, and was instantly shocked to see disembodied hands writing in front of the other kid. Dead, rotten, hands. Well, that was certainly nightmare fuel for her. She tensed up, looking between the owner of the hands and the hands with a mix of shock and disgust. … Why? Why were they even doing this in class? Seeing dead hands move around was not something she needed to see. She jerked her focus away and back to her paper, trying to wipe that disturbing mental image from her brain. She hoped it didn’t give her nightmares…
