Point me and my World Eaters in the right direction and stand back. Things are about to get messy.
It makes sense that different groupings might take on certain roles on this operation. I mean, I'd think there's sentries to silence, escape routes to block, security to nullify and a party full of officers to destroy. They might want to account for whether or not these militia types have their own aerial transport, as that's another avenue of escape. So there should be at least two landing parties; one to throw out the cordon and close a perimeter, and the other to immediately disable escape vehicles. From they could take the Chateau Thorn from the top moving down while the security force maintains that perimeter, perhaps using some of the automated weaponry that may well be in place when an alert is triggered. Oh, and Chaos demons. Because once the heat is turned on, the desperation starts. That's sort of my vision for it, but I hope I left it broad enough for people to work with. Since some of these troops are ex-Solar Auxilia, they aren't pushovers, but tactics are up to the Blackshields. At the same time, I think of the game Space Marine, where Titus is this force of momentum and ponderous strength, where the Space Marines are incredibly powerful in a fight. They're also outnumbered, but that's generally the case in most circumstances anyway. Or they could just steal the Rhinos, but then they're leaving people behind to report the theft and it seems doesn't seem Astartes-like to just bypass a winnable fight that helps degrade enemy command capabilities.
