The first year students roaming below in the sunlight, relaxing and playing, stirred his mind back to the days when some of his prized students has danced in the moonlight in much the same way. The book lay on the windowsill wide open as Kano etched this momemt into one of the dozens of pages. Careful to record the name of every student who embraced the opportunity to enjoy thenself and make friendships without judgement. The book closed quietly, the locking mechanism snapping into place as Kano placed it on his hip again. "Itsy bitsy spider.." he hummed. ------ ~At the Fountain~ ------ Drawn to the whim of the caller, the river flowing about the entire surrounding village responded to the flow asked of it. Long thin lines of crystal blue water snaked through the air, to the outstretched hand of Kano Hargor, idly humming the tune of the nursery rhyme about the spider climbing the drain.. The water swelled high in the sky, its clear blue masked by the skies clear complexion. It was gradual at first as more thin lines of water met and flowed together in the air. At first it was no bigger than a person.. then a large animal. Faster and faster it swelled with the hundreds upon thousands of snaking streams weaving through the air to the gigantic bubble. Satisfied that the collected water could flood the lower floor, shouls he want to, Kano brought the sphere of swilring water into position. Right above the fountain. "Down came the rain.. though these spiders won't be washed out." His grip on the spher dropped, the circular ball of water hovering perhaps 20 feet above the gathered students, dropped with it. Of course it wouldn't fall as one giant blob of surprise and shock.. "Pop!" The globe of falling water did just that. When it popped, everything within 20 feet of the fountain was now a major splashzone. Every last student below would be in the localized waterfall and summarily be soaked right through with cold water. When the last drop fell and everything returned to normality, Kano stood at the doorway to the first floor woth his hands crossed over his chest holding in a slight laugh as he marched out towards the group of students. "Great weather today. Too bad we get such sporadic bouts of heavy rain." This time he did chuckle. "When you are all done, please dry off. There will be a school announcement for all first year students in 2 hours."
