Zanavy's muscles... if she could call them hers ... momentarily tensed at the bizarre sensation of strong, alien thoughts going through her mind at the same time as her own familiar thoughts. Taken over a body? she wondered to herself. I must be dreaming or a ghost. I hope I'm dreaming. The second mind told her not to fear the rattlesnake. The glowing man told her not to move. Her own mind told her to run away... maybe... well, maybe that was a bit of an overreaction. Zanavy gave the glowing man a brief nod of thanks and then decided to split the difference by sitting still and watching the snake closely, waiting to see what it would do next. As she traced the pattern of its rough brown scales with her eyes, Zanavy thought about trying to communicate with this other mind. She imagined herself talking to her own skull and tried to really focus on a few sentences. All these new sights and sounds, along with a surprisingly chill emotion, made it a little difficult for her to concentrate. "Gadares! Anani!" Another voice called out right as Zanavy finished a question. She curiously glanced toward the sound, but not with intent or recognition, as she didn't know her host's name.
