I think shitposting is a art if it is done well. The shitpost itself is not the art.

I feel this way about a lot of modern/abstract art -- the bullshit things the 'artist' comes up with to explain what their piece is about is really what makes or breaks the piece, not usually the actual skills/composition itself.
