Dia looked at the Headmaster wearily, confused on so many accounts now. "The basic underlying truth is that it can kill you. We're mostly water. What happens when that water freezes immediately inside you?" She asked through her tears, sounding different than normal. "The other underlying truth is that water expands upon freezing, unlike anything else. Given purity, water turned ice is structured, uniform, simple even in it's complexity. It can promote healing, in an abstract way, or quicken the end of things." She gingerly took the offered hand, closing her eyes. "Please, I need help. Everything is wrong. I'm wrong. I want to heal, not hurt," she continued quieter, sounding much more like her normal scared self. "I-i-i want to be..." She trailed off, unsure of what she was even saying anymore. "I made friends for the first time today. Assuming I didn't lose them now. It's a step forward, isn't it?" She asked, looking for answers. Is he right? Can he help me control it so I don't always make people cold around me? Will I ever be remotely normal again? she questioned herself.
