Lt. Gunter Speidel fully recovered his hearing and was standing up by the time , but in reaction to the events that were unfolding before him a part of him wished he hadn't. The explanation was too vague for Gunter, almost as if this was a fairy tale. Still, he owed the life of himself to this pipsqueak and decided therefore to give her a chance to explain herself. Gunter was a war veteran, but he was also an officer. Gotta control the situation or my life will be no more. Analyzing the reactions of those around him as well as their looks, Gunter immediately knew this was going to be a trip. So many undisciplined cowboys, at least by first impression. He hated those types. Always unpredictable and a danger to themselves and others. First, however, he already saw his assumptions of this lot being undisciplined cowboys prove true. That one, Ming, she looked awfully like the Felinus in Cenith, and so his observation was biased toward his culture. Disappointment. He thought as he sternly commanded and prayed to the Gods that they understood Cenithian "Stand down!" What Ming did, however, was give him a valuable piece of information regarding this Julia: do not make fun of her size. Not like Gunter wanted to, for he has seen dwarves in action before. They were not to be trifled with, ever. The knight, Aeris, was the first that broke his initial impression however. Gunter, as an officer, immediately noticed the logic behind his words and the discipline behind him. No matter, he could not have gone through the hell that a Blasting Betty could! One of them, Patricia was what she was called, looked like a fracking murderer. He was going to have to be careful about them. Angela, D'ren and Dante were not easy to get a read on, and so Gunter reserved his opinions for later. Zara seemed to have gone through some kind of military training judging by her stance. Either that, or a highly skilled combatant. At least this was something he could work with. That Kitsune, Ryteb, seemed to be some sort of spell caster if the Kitsunes on his world and the lack of a bracelet were any indicator. Very arrogant, not to say I am not myself. However, there was not much more could Gunter get out of his first impression. Gunter betrayed no reactions as he stayed helmeted and finally spoke. "Alright, I'll hear you out but I need details! Let us start simple. First of all, why us? Second, what in the Empress's name are these cracks?"
