Sakura Kyouko
Kyouko raised an eyebrow. Those were pokeballs, weren't they? This girl totally had pokeballs. Was she some kind of cosplayer or something? Castelia City? "Nah, dunno anywhere by that name," Kyouko replied, though it did sound strangely familiar somehow, "I'm from Mitakihara, and this place sure as hell ain't Mitakihara." The redheaded girl let out a huff. Where was this, anyway...? Before she could think on the Pokeballs, or her location, any longer, some horribly off-key singing hit her ears. That was awful, who the hell was caterwauling like that? It was just plain terrible! But that took second place to the amazing smell that hit her nose. Frying dough, sizzling meats... that was an incredible smell. It was like the smells that came out of festivals, the scent of those awesome street snacks that she would absolutely devour every chance she got. Without making a response to Hilda, the redheaded spear-wielder was off like a shot.
"A customer?!" The girl stopped her terrible singing and ceased her banging on the pots, quickly sprinting around behind the counter. Whew, nothing had burned, it all looked good! She knew her timing was perfect! On display were a variety of snacks, some freshly prepared and some in the process of being being readied. On display were taiyaki and meat buns, takoyaki was frying away, meats were sizzling... indeed, the array of scents matched the array of foods on display. This guy was pretty grizzly, but he seemed hungry. She'd make the boss proud! "If Yu-chan can make a recommendation, oji-san, the takoyaki is perfect!" Yu cheerily declared, her pigtails bobbing, As if on que, some of the takoyaki was finished frying. The small brunette swiftly placed two sets in a paper tray, skewering them and laying takoyaki sauce and various other toppings across them. "The boss might not be here, but Yu-chan is confident in her preparation!" Hopefully it would be better then her singing. ... And suddenly, Kyouko was at the stand, immediately snatching up one of the takoyaki trays and devouring several of the octopus balls. The delicious flavor that flooded her mouth was exactly what she'd hoped for, even with the blazing heat of the freshly prepared street food. "A-ah?! Hey, wait, you should pay first!" cried the girl at the counter. "You shouldn't just leave it lying out where I can grab if if that's what you want," Kyouko replied, simply, before engulfing the remaining takoyaki with speed many people would believe impossible, especially when it came to such a hot food.
