[color=lightblue][b]Personality:[/b][/color][color=gray]While on the job, which he almost always is, Captain Rogers is a very no nonsense man believing in strict discipline and hard work is able to overcome any situation. He keeps both he and his men on a very rigid code of honor and punishing any and every body who would break that code. Being the symbol of strength and loyalty not only to his men but to the Empress that he serves he is unquestionably loyal even going so far as to think of himself as a servant to his men.[/color]

[color=gray]When he is not on duty Steve is a kind and gentle man who spends most of his time aiding those who are in need within the Empress' kingdom. He is often found spending time with orphans, feeding those who have nothing to eat and other charitable pass times[/color].

[color=lightblue][b]Strengths:[/b][/color][color=gray]Due to the blessings given to him by Maleficent he is beyond the normal human capabilities. He is stronger than any normal human, faster than any normal human and able to think and process faster than most humans can. Given his little over a decade of training as a soldier he has become a very knowledgeable tactician able to come up with and change strategies on the fly.[/color]

[color=lightblue][b]Weaknesses:[/b][/color][color=gray]Despite all these blessings he has been given he is still in fact human. He can be killed, beaten, and broken both physically and mentally. Rogers has a soft spot for the public and will regularly put him and his men in harms way so that the public will be spared from any and all wrath, both foreign and domestic.[/color]

[color=lightblue][b]Brief Biography (Life In Rivenspire):[/b][/color]
[color=gray]Steven James Rogers was born to a poor farming family in Avonlea. He was born severely small and it was told to parents Joseph and Sarah that their one and only son would not life to see his first winter, but somehow the small underweight child fought hard and survived. As he grew it was clear that Steve was small and under developed his small and gangly frame was something that earned him the ire of many a bully but despite all everything he kept a lively and upbeat attitude. These hardships made him strong willed and willing to fight for the little guy. This became evident when he stood up to a bully that was picking on his friend Bucky. 

As he grew Steve continued to work on his families farm despite not having the physical strength to do many things needed. When conflict started in Avonlea he was the first sign up for the militia in order to defend his home though due to his small frame and lack of physical strength he was turned away though that didn't stop him from during what he felt was his duty to his kingdom. It wouldn't be long before he would have a chance to make a difference to his kingdom. 

It was purely by chance that the Empress of Rivenspire came to Avonlea and even more random that she would come through his village. As the procession made its way through Steve noticed something odd about some of the citizenry were not people that he knew which didn't make sense because he knew everyone. Even before the guards figured it out Rogers was already snatching one of their shields and putting himself between the attackers and the Empress he fought even when he was broken. This loyalty even in the face of certain death impressed the Empress and when Maleficent was safe she blessed Rogers with gifts beyond his wildest dreams. 

Rogers became stronger, faster, everything that he was denied from birth. His physique became unmatched to any man past or present but the greatest gift she bestowed was a shield, a shield imbued with magic. This shield, perfectly crafted, was granted nigh invulnerability able to withstand any blow and neither break, bend or buckle and with his skills and constant training in the Empress' army Rogers became skilled in throwing his the shield so that it always came back to him. With all of these things given to him Rogers became the Empress' Shield, her personal guard and Captain of her armies.[/color]

[color=gray]Captain Rogers' only weapon is his shield, a concave disk 2.5 feet in diameter, weighing 12 pounds. It is made of a unique alloy that has never been duplicated. The shield was awarded to Captain Rogers by the Maleficent several months after the beginning of his career.

The shield has great aerodynamic properties: it is able to slice through the air with minimal wind resistance and deflection of path. Its great overall resilience, combined with its natural concentric stiffness, enables it to rebound from objects with minimal loss of angular momentum. It is virtually indestructible: it is resistant to penetration, temperature extremes, and the entire electromagnetic spectrum of radiation.[/color]
