[@CruelWoman] Wow, that's awesome that you have so much experience roleplaying! What about RPing do you enjoy specifically, if there is such a reason? 

There are a lot of different RPs that are categorized with tags relating to their genres, and I believe 'modern' is one of them - so hopefully you can use that to find RPs you'll enjoy. I'm not super familiar with it personally but I believe the "Arena" subforum specifically focuses on 1v1 battles / sparring.
