[@LokiLeo789]
Understandable. If an RP were to take on device in which the players take the place if the Straw Hats, one of a few things would have to be considered.
One: Numbers. Currently there are 9 crew-members officially part of the Straw Hat crew. This number in relation to the number of player-characters needs to remain proportionate unless people start to create characters who have no real use to the crew. A possible solution, create characters who are younger and are considered beginners who play the part of traditional Powder-monkeys. Two: Villains. Arcs will no doubt come with villains, whether it be the Marines or other Pirate crews. But the job in RP's like these usually fall on the shoulders of the GM and his/her Co.GM's. Unless the GM's are capable of keeping up with the flow of the story, RP's like these tend to die. This is just an observation of mine, although this is the case for most RP's of similar countenance.
Just some point in want to bring out for one of the other potential plots. Edit: Looks like you have the Numbers think down. Nevermind then.
1. This may become a problem later on, but for now the crew will probably start at around 5 or 6 characters and when we start getting up their in numbers, I'm sure people will either be able to come up with new roles to fill, or maybe the roles will start getting into more specific areas like instead of another cook, we'll find ourselves a member who specializes in a specific type of cuisine. 2. Keeping up with a continuous story is definitely a problem, but hopefully with the time bought with the various arcs other players will come up with, I'll be able to keep the stories coming. [@Archmage MC][@Ryteb Pymeroce][@Rin] I'm working on the CS as we speak. There's just a few things I need to clear up 1. Do our characters know each other already? 2. How long after the driving factor (Gol D. Roger's execution in the main series) should the story start? 3. Is there anything else we need to discuss?
